π The Sacred Hearth: Gathering in Spirit and Unity π₯
Where spirits gather, wisdom flows, and the wheel of the year turns once again
Mystic Mabon Southwest β a vibrant pan-Pagan celebration of the Autumn Equinox in the heart of northern New Mexico. From September 18th to 21st, 2025, the festival invites seekers, elders, families, and curious newcomers alike to a joyful and grounding experience of spiritual unity, ritual, and community.
π A Time of Balance and Bounty
As the daylight begins to wane and the harvest reaches its peak, the Fall Equinox reminds us to embrace the duality of light and shadow. Mystic Mabon is a sacred space to honor Mabon, Alban Elfed, HaustblΓ³t, or your own Equinox traditions. This is a time to share spiritual and worldly harvests, give thanks for abundance, and prepare for the inward journey of winter.
π―οΈ Festival Theme: The Sacred Hearth
This year’s theme centers on connection, transformation, and inclusion. The hearth is a metaphorical and physical space for gathering, reflection, warmth, and sacred work. Whether it’s unscripted trance rituals, community ceremonies, or heartfelt exchanges around a fire, the hearth represents the pulse of the community.
πΆ Festival Highlights
Throughout four magical days, Mystic Mabon offers workshops, bardic circles, fireside drumming, live music, and community rituals beneath the sky. The festival’s merchant village showcases gifted readers, healers, and craftspeople offering their wares and wisdom.
πΏ A Gathering of Pagan Paths
This inclusive gathering celebrates Paganism in its many forms, providing a safe and welcoming space to share and learn across traditions. Whether you walk the path of Wicca, Druidry, Norse paganism, or are just beginning your journey, youβll find kinship here.
π Community Participation
Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring musical instruments, ritual attire, costumes, and an open heart. The schedule includes rituals, experiential workshops, drumming circles, community feasts, and spontaneous gatherings.
ποΈ Camping & Site Facilities
Held at a rustic group campground in New Mexicoβs National Forest, the festival offers ample space for tents, treed areas for shade, and stunning night skies. The site has no electricity or potable water β please come prepared. Handwashing stations and non-flushing toilets will be provided, along with designated camping areas.
πΏ Hygiene & Water Safety
Bring at least two gallons of drinking water per person per day, plus additional water for cooking and washing. Flashlights or headlamps are essential, and chairs for workshops and gatherings are highly recommended.
βΏ Accessibility Information
The camp includes both level and hilly terrain, with accessible portable restrooms. Though mobility may be challenging in some areas, paths are a mix of paved and unpaved trails. Please contact the organizers with any accessibility concerns.
π» Forest Safety
As the land is home to bears and forest creatures, store all food and garbage securely in vehicles. Help protect the forest by packing out all waste, and leave the land cleaner than you found it.
π Parking & RV Options
Park only in designated areas and display your name and contact information in your windshield. A limited number of RV spaces are available for $20 and must be reserved in advance. There are no RV hookups.
π« Registration Details
Registration opens in June 2025. All tickets must be purchased in advance. Early-bird pricing will be in effect until approximately a month before the festival. Your confirmation packet will contain essential information about the site, camping, schedule, and more.
π₯ Gather at the Hearth
Mystic Mabon Southwest is more than a festival β it is a convergence of stories, traditions, and sacred intention. It is a place to rekindle the old ways, honor the turning of the wheel, and celebrate the deep magic of the equinox with a circle of kindred souls.
